“What I’m Watching Here Is a Tragedy”: Catherine Cortez Masto Condemns Trumpcare Alongside Nevada Health Care Advocates

At UMC’s Children's Hospital of Nevada in Las Vegas, U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D) refused to mince words in describing Senate Republicans’ stalled Trumpcare bill. Cortez Masto stated she could not find anything in the Senate Republican bill that would “lower costs for anyone in Nevada”. Cortez Masto joined local health care advocates on Friday to point out how Trumpcare does nothing but harm Nevada. (more…)

On Saturday, May 13, about 30 Indivisible volunteers gathered at Battle Born Progress’ Las Vegas office to discuss Donald Trump, Congress, health care policy, education, state and local government, and much more with Rep. Ruben Kihuen (D-Las Vegas). Protesters Removed from “Sold Out” Private Las Vegas Luncheon with Dean Heller

U.S. Senator Dean Heller (R) appeared before the Latin Chamber of Commerce in Las Vegas. Unlike his last appointment with the Chamber, he finally appeared in person. This time, he appeared to a “sold out” crowd… But how “sold out” was the event, really? And this time, protesters were forcibly removed from the luncheon after they shouted questions at the Senator.
