One day after the U.S. House passed its version of the Trump Tax Plan, Rep. Dina Titus (D-Las Vegas) returned to Nevada and appeared at UNLV to explain how the tax bill would affect her constituents. Nevadans Visit Dean Heller’s Las Vegas Office, Demand He Oppose Cuts to Safety Net Programs

On Tuesday, a group of concerned retirees visited Senator Dean Heller’s (R) Las Vegas office to register their opposition to the tax plan President Donald Trump and Congressional Republican leaders have been rallying around. House Republicans Release New Version of Trump Tax Plan, Which Still Benefits Wealthiest Americans the Most

Earlier today, House Republicans unveiled their version of the tax cut proposal that President Donald Trump and Congressional Republican leaders want to pass by the end of the year. Despite some recent tweaks, it still largely mirrors what Republicans first proposed last month. That means the richest 1% of Americans would still enjoy the lion’s share of tax cuts, while everyone else is at risk of paying higher taxes and/or bearing the brunt of painful budget cuts. (more…)
