Environmentalists Deliver 400+ Letters to Dean Heller Opposing Trump Budget Cuts

Several environmental and progressive groups visited U.S. Senator Dean Heller’s (R) Las Vegas office to urge him to vote against Donald Trump’s proposed budget cuts. The Nevada Conservation League then delivered 408 handwritten letters to Heller’s office opposing cuts to environmental health programs. Protesters Removed from “Sold Out” Private Las Vegas Luncheon with Dean Heller

U.S. Senator Dean Heller (R) appeared before the Latin Chamber of Commerce in Las Vegas. Unlike his last appointment with the Chamber, he finally appeared in person. This time, he appeared to a “sold out” crowd… But how “sold out” was the event, really? And this time, protesters were forcibly removed from the luncheon after they shouted questions at the Senator.
