Clean Bus Advocates Deliver Signatures to Governor Sandoval

After a year-long campaign to raise awareness and build support, Chispa Nevada and community allies announced that they collected over 4,000 signed petitions in support of Chispa’s “Clean Buses Healthy Niños” campaign to replace old diesel powered school buses with cleaner electric buses. Environmentalists Deliver 400+ Letters to Dean Heller Opposing Trump Budget Cuts

Several environmental and progressive groups visited U.S. Senator Dean Heller’s (R) Las Vegas office to urge him to vote against Donald Trump’s proposed budget cuts. The Nevada Conservation League then delivered 408 handwritten letters to Heller’s office opposing cuts to environmental health programs. Activists Deliver Over 7,000 Signatures in Support of AB 206 Renewable Energy Standard

Just hours after the Nevada Legislature adjourned Sine Die, a group of environmental and energy activists returned to deliver to Governor Brian Sandoval (R) over 7,000 petition signatures urging him to sign AB 206 into law.
