Late Wednesday, news broke of Republicans filing a notice of intent to recall State Senator Joyce Woodhouse (D-Henderson). Within 48 hours, Republicans would announce intention to recall two other female Senators. Why? That’s the question on everyone’s mind as reporters, other legislators, and constituents try to figure out the actual intent of this attempted recall. Sandoval Dismisses Trump’s Tweets, Keeps in Place Transgender Inclusive Policies for Nevada National Guard

On Thursday, Governor Brian Sandoval (R) announced he will maintain current LGBTQIA inclusive non-discrimination policy for the Nevada National Guard. This comes after President  Donald Trump’s tweets. In a statement released earlier, Sandoval said, “We will serve all of the members of our military as well as they serve us and give them the full respect they have earned. They deserve nothing less.”

Activists Deliver Over 7,000 Signatures in Support of AB 206 Renewable Energy Standard

Just hours after the Nevada Legislature adjourned Sine Die, a group of environmental and energy activists returned to deliver to Governor Brian Sandoval (R) over 7,000 petition signatures urging him to sign AB 206 into law.
