Fight for 15 Activists Hit Las Vegas Strip, Demand Fair Wages on Labor Day

On Labor Day, hundreds of economic justice activists took to the Las Vegas Strip to demand fair wages and workers’ rights. They were joined by Members of Congress, local elected officials, and other progressive activists on a warm Monday morning. Sandoval Dismisses Trump’s Tweets, Keeps in Place Transgender Inclusive Policies for Nevada National Guard

On Thursday, Governor Brian Sandoval (R) announced he will maintain current LGBTQIA inclusive non-discrimination policy for the Nevada National Guard. This comes after President  Donald Trump’s tweets. In a statement released earlier, Sandoval said, “We will serve all of the members of our military as well as they serve us and give them the full respect they have earned. They deserve nothing less.”
