Last Saturday, Former Maricopa County, Arizona, Sheriff Joe Arpaio accepted the “Courage Under Fire” award from conservative anti-tax activist Chuck Muth’s Conservative Leadership Conference. Eye of the Storm: Can Congress Pass a Budget and Help for Harvey Victims in 12 Days?

Next Tuesday, Congress returns from its August Recess. From there, Congress only has twelve working days in the Capitol scheduled for September. Obviously, this calendar was devised before Hurricane Harvey. Still, one must ask: How on earth will they be able to pass a budget, advance some sort of “tax reform”, and pass emergency assistance for Harvey victims in such a short amount of time? (more…)

Rep. Ruben Kihuen Meets with Indivisible Members in Las Vegas

On Saturday, May 13, about 30 Indivisible volunteers gathered at Battle Born Progress’ Las Vegas office to discuss Donald Trump, Congress, health care policy, education, state and local government, and much more with Rep. Ruben Kihuen (D-Las Vegas).
